Developed by [[http://www.pantone.com/|Pantone, Inc.]] the system standardizes colors for printed materials, assuring that color is matched from various output devices, presses and over time.

The [[Penn State Mark]] uses PMS 287 and 285 for blue coloring, and PMS 424 for gray.
