WELCOME, Dr Byron Yu and Dr John Jefferys. This week the Center for Neural Engineering and the Department of Engineering Science and Mechanics welcomes two special guests. Byron Yu, Stanford University and Gatsby Computational Neuroscience Unit, University College London will present two present two seminars: Probability, Week 1 and Extracting single-trial views of brain activity. Dr John Jefferys, Professor and Head of Neuroscience School of Clinical and Experimental Medicine University of Birmingham, will present a seminar Effects of electric fields on neurons and neuronal networks in the brain.
