Now that you've read the problem, reread it, and taken notes on it, ask yourself some questions: (follow these links to follow the sample of the Truckster)

• What factors are going to be involved in this design?
• What components will you set and what will you need to design?
• Start thinking about what material properties you want for your design...

Then, look around... Check out the internet, look at everyday objects that you could design. Get ideas from existing designs. What do you like? What do you think you could do better? If you have a basic design idea, has anyone else designed something similar? Are you on the right track?
