Ozbolat Lab

Ozbolat Lab at the Penn State University focuses on establishing cutting-edge bioprinting science and technology for engineering around a dozen tissue types. A primary objective of our research has been in understanding the role of 3D bioprinting process parameters on the fabrication and maturation of tissue substitutes recapitulating the physiology, anatomy, and function of native counterparts. The research group has been engaged in several projects sponsored by governmental agencies, private corporations, foundations, local agencies and industry.
