The shear diagram is incorrect because in this picture the distributed load does not act along the whole beam as it does in our example.

The shear diagram is incorrect because the distributed load is only acting over half of the beam. The shear should be the slope of the distributed load and this should be taken into account.

This is the correct shear diagram.
